why yoga
There are many reasons why people start a yoga practice. It can be about improving strength, flexibility and balance. Activating blood circulation in the body, strengthening the respiratory system, lower blood pressure and improve the immune system. A mindful yoga practice has been shown to relieve back and neck pain. Practicing focus and attention through mindfulness and meditation increases body awareness and can make us more effective in our daily lives and more in tune with ourselves. And the many tools offered in yoga to support recovery and stress reduction are two other significant reasons why people choose to invest time in a yoga practice.
For the last ten years I have guided yoga for people of all ages and genders, beginners, yoga teachers, people with injuries, athletes, yoga skeptics, children, creatives, executives, IT-workers and so many other wonderful people….they could all do yoga
